A MAN’S GIFT

By Seth Akwasi Baah-Ansah

Introduction:
The purpose of this article is to encourage readers to develop their God given gifts and become profitable in the vineyard of God.

Proverbs 18: 16 “A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men.”
The NIV will put the last part as “usher him into the presence of the great”.  The quote above indicates that the gift that a man gives or uses or dispenses will take him/her to the domain of the great.  It implies the gift bearer would be sought after by most prominent people.

The bible did not give a specification as to your country, continent or your own world of contact, but it was opened. Thus by reason of your gift you can be needed in the European zone, Americans, Africa, Asia etc by their great men.
It is sad to note that, many people live and die without reaching their full potential or meeting the needs of people via the usage of their gifts.

The above agrees with the paraphrased Maxim. The richest place in this world is not the oil fields in Arabia, the gold fields in Africa, “nor the rich rain forest of Amazon”, but the cemetery (By Dr. Myles Munroe).
The cemetery is the place where great books are buried, interesting artist impressions, drawings and paintings have remained silent. Not to talk about poetry, music, movies, preaching and great scholastic in-depth.

One may then reason, I am not in the cemetery, yet not rich.
You may not be in the cemetery but might be a moving cemetery.  You may have gifts and talents that have never been deployed.  The use of your gifts could be the answer to a prayer.
Thank you for reading this article stay put for the continuation. God bless you; keep developing yourself for you are meant to be the head and not the tail.
